More about the CD

This CD is prepared for the 2005 Program Review of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Department at the University of Georgia . The CD is a supplement to the Department's self evaluation report. The purpose of the CD is to give viewers easy access to a large amount of information about the Department and its many programs. Review of the Department is best understood within the context of its mission, strategic plan and history. Therefore these sections are featured prominently as the first few primary links on the home page. There are brief descriptions of the academic, research and extension programs which are available from the primary links. Faculty, staff and post doctoral associates in the Department are listed, and their interests and responsibilities are described. Compilations of publications, impact statements, achievements and other noteworthy items are also featured in the primary links.

The first section of appendices relates to the overall Department and includes such items as the strategic plan, annual progress reports, and earlier program review recommendations. The second section relates to teaching and academic programs. Included in this section are assessment plans and reports; course counts and grade summaries; and graduate student characteristics, programs of study and achievements. The third and fourth sections relate to research and extension, respectively. Some of the major achievements in these areas are briefly described in these sections. The fifth section provides information on faculty, staff and post doctoral associates. An organizational chart of the department is also included in this section. The sixth section provides information on facilities. The Department's programs are dispersed throughout the state, and this section shows information on the buildings in which our offices are housed.

If you are viewing the CD from a computer that has access to the Internet, you will be able to access some web pages through secondary links, such as faculty CVs which are on the web but not this CD. If your computer does not have access to the Internet, then these secondary links will not be available.
