Agritourism is expected to grow over the next five plus years. People are looking for get-aways that do not require flying and allow them time to reflect and spend time with their families. These circumstances provide a good opportunity to explore agritourism in Georgia. The Center for Agribusiness and Economic Development presents the findings of an Agritourism study indicating agritourims potential across Georgia. Presentation is available here.

Symposium on Value Added Agriculture.  The CAED staff was highly visable at the recent Symposium on Value Added Agriculture in Tifton Georgia.  Chris and John spoke on the opportunities for bio-diesel in Georgia while Brigid addressed the role of agricultural tourism in Georgia.   Brigid's presentation is available here.
