and Applied Economics Computer Committee Evaluate current hardware, software and human resources and make recommendations for restructuring, relocating, acquisition, and training. Lewell Gunter (chair) Organize and implement activities for enhancing professional productivity, job satisfaction, and departmental collegiality and morale. These activities include professional training, interdepartmental communication, intradepartmental communication, awards, publicity, seminars and special events. Jim Epperson (chair) Graduate Committee Review and evaluation of graduate course proposals, course content, and curriculum structure; formulate graduate curriculum recommendations; review and develop revised graduate catalog descriptions. Evaluation and recommendations regarding graduate course sequencing and instructors. Program evaluation and policy recommendations; evaluate graduate study applications, rank candidates for financial assistance; develop promotional materials and recruitment methods for graduate program. Establish and maintain up-to-date set of graduate course syllabi. Michael Wetzstein (chair) Library Committee Evaluate collection, services, equipment, and human resources and make recommendations for acquisition, relocation and training. Luanne Lohr (chair) Program Advisory Committee Coordinate program planning activities, keeping the department and department stakeholders informed of the teaching, research and public service programs offered by the department, soliciting input from the department and department stakeholders on program impacts and priorities, provide advice to the department related to program planning including program priorities, new faculty and staff needs, new support facility needs, and ways to enhance collaboration and cooperation in the department to increase the effectiveness of departmental programs. Organize and implement an annual department-wide planning meeting. Coordinate revisions in the strategic plan. Jack Houston (chair) Undergraduate Committee Review and evaluation of undergraduate course proposals, course content, and curriculum structure; formulate undergraduate curriculum recommendations; review and develop revised undergraduate catalog descriptions. Evaluation and recommendations regarding undergraduate course sequencing and instructors, academic counseling, recruitment and retention. Make recommendations to Department Head on all petitions regarding undergraduate issues. Develop and conduct undergraduate student scholarship and award competitions.
