GEORGIA COOPERATIVE COUNCIL,
INC. SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria:
1. The recipient must be enrolled in a course of study in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics.
2. The recipient must be an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior.
3. A combination of academic ability, leadership potential and character will be used in determining scholarship winners.
4. A person may submit an application each year, but previous winners are not eligible for a second scholarship.
Amount
The scholarship will be $1, 200 to the scholarship winner.
Selection Process
The selection of the recipient shall be made by the Agricultural and Applied Economics Department Head and the Executive Director of the Georgia Cooperative Council, Inc. It is anticipated that the recipient of this scholarship will attend the Georgia Cooperative Council, Inc. annual meeting to present a brief overview of the program he/she is pursuing.
